The NAMI Walk is a pivotal event aimed at raising awareness about mental health conditions, promoting understanding, and supporting those affected. By participating, we aim to:

  • Support NAMI’s Mission: Contribute to the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) in their mission to provide education, support, and advocacy for individuals living with mental health conditions.

How You Can Get Involved


1. Join Our Team:


We warmly invite you to be part of the Blue Umbrella Psychiatry team at the NAMI Walk. Here’s how you can join us:


  • Register: Sign up to walk with our team by visiting the NAMI Walk Registration Page. Search for the Blue Umbrella Psychiatry team and register to participate.
  • Fundraise: Help us reach our fundraising goals by creating your own fundraising page and encouraging friends and family to support our efforts. Every contribution helps fund crucial mental health programs and services.
  • Participate: Join us on October 5th at NOVA Southeastern University for a morning of walking, community, and support. Your presence will make a significant impact!


2. Support the Cause:


If you’re unable to attend the walk in person, you can still support the event:
