Reflecting on Your Mental Health Journey in 2025

On this Christmas Day, we want to take a moment to thank our patients for letting Blue Umbrella Psychiatry be a part of your mental health journey in 2025. Your trust in us means the world, and we’re especially grateful to those who referred family and friends, joined our therapy groups, and moved with us to our new location. You make our community stronger, and we truly appreciate every one of you.

The end of the year is a great time to pause, reflect, and celebrate the progress you’ve made—even small steps matter. Whether it was attending sessions regularly, trying new coping strategies, or supporting a loved one’s mental health, your commitment deserves recognition.

Important Notes for Year-End and New Year

  • Our office will be closed December 24–26 to allow our team to rest and recharge.

  • We will also be closed January 1st for New Year’s Day.

  • On January 2nd, our Patient Care team will be reaching out to patients to verify insurance plans, benefits, and network status for the new year. Insurance plans and coverage often change at the start of the year, and this helps us ensure your care remains uninterrupted.

While the office is closed, we encourage you to enjoy the day, practice self-care, and spend time with loved ones if you can. Even small moments of reflection, gratitude, or relaxation can support your mental well-being.

Thank you for being part of Blue Umbrella Psychiatry. We look forward to supporting you in 2026 with therapy, medication management, and strategies to help you thrive. Wishing you a peaceful and restorative Christmas and end of the year!

Why Mental Health Awareness Matters Mental Health Awareness Month is a time to focus on emotional wellbeing, reduce stigma, and encourage people to seek support. Mental health is just as important as physical health. It affects how we think, feel, and handle daily life. When stress, anxiety, or depression go unaddressed, they can impact sleep, relationships, concentration, and even physical health.
